SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 25

Recognizing the outstanding teaching ability of Shirley Longsworth, an educator at Ben Franklin Career and Technical Education Center.

Whereas, Shirley Longsworth is an educator at Ben Franklin Career and Technical Education Center teaching adult medical assistant classes; and
Whereas, The devotion and dedication exhibited by Shirley Longsworth to her students has resulted in their success; and
Whereas, As a direct result of her outstanding teaching ability, Shirley Longsworth has had students win in local, state and national Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Skills Competitions in 1994, 1995 and 1996, setting a record in West Virginia; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby commends Shirley Longsworth for her accomplishments as an outstanding educator, whose devotion and dedication to her students has resulted in her students winning local, state and national Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Skills Competitions for the last three years; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to Shirley Longsworth.
